Return & Refund Policy

All sales are final. Refunds are not allowed unless the product is defective or deficient.

If you receive an item that is defective, damaged, or incomplete, please contact us immediately at support@smartbuying.ca with clear photos or videos so we can evaluate the issue. Once the defect is confirmed, we will process a full refund or send a replacement, depending on availability.


30-Day Return Policy (Non-Refund Returns Only)

We have a 30-day return policy for eligible items; however, returns do not qualify for refunds unless the product is defective.

To be eligible for a return, the item must be in the same condition in which it was received—unworn or unused, with tags, and in its original packaging. A receipt or proof of purchase is required.

If your return is accepted, we’ll send you a return shipping label with instructions. Items sent back without prior approval will not be accepted.

Damages and Issues

Please inspect your order upon delivery and contact us immediately if you receive a defective, damaged, or incorrect item. We will review the issue and resolve it quickly. Defective products are eligible for a full refund.


Exceptions / Non-Returnable Items

Certain items cannot be returned, including:

  • Perishable goods (food, flowers, plants)

  • Custom or personalized products

  • Personal care goods (beauty items)

  • Hazardous materials, flammable liquids, or gases

  • Sale items and gift cards

Exchanges

If you wish to exchange an item, you may return the original item (no refund will be issued unless defective). Once the return is approved, you can place a separate order for the new item.


European Union 14-Day Cooling-Off Period

If your order is shipped to the EU, you have the right to cancel or return it within 14 days for any reason. However, refunds will still only be issued if the product is defective. Items must be in their original condition with tags and packaging, and you must provide proof of purchase.

Refunds are issued only for defective or deficient products.

Once we receive and inspect your defective return, we will notify you of approval. Approved refunds will be issued to your original payment method within 10 business days.
